We took a bus tour of New Orleans, above the famous dome that came down during the hurricane

Many homes are still not repaired or livable

Numbers & letters mark the properties; Right - the lot where our bus drivers home was. They swam to safety.

The Mississippi is still close to the shoreline

The indominatable Fats Domino came in & renovated his home!

The Brad Pitt Foundation is building several new houses down there, all with solar panel roofs


Near one house, girls boarded the bus to sell home made cookies


And the rebuilding of New Orleans 9th Ward continues
