A bus tour of New Orleans, including the hurricane devestated 9th Ward & the rebuilding

We took a bus tour of New Orleans, above the famous dome that came down during the hurricane	Some beautiful homes in parts of New Orleans
	Horse & carriage rides abound in the downtown area
A downtown park in New Orleans	With a neat little train ride
The famous New Orleans cemetary was a stop on the tour	Marlene caught up on text messages, while Earl walked with the tour, L.
	The famous levy that overflowed, devastating the 9th Ward
The devastation that occurred in the 9th Ward is hard to view	Many homes are still not repaired or livable
Numbers & letters mark the properties; Right - the lot where our bus drivers home was. They swam to safety.
The Mississippi is still close to the shoreline	The indominatable Fats Domino came in & renovated his home!
The Brad Pitt Foundation is building several new houses down there, all with solar panel roofs
Near one house, girls boarded the bus to sell home made cookies	And the rebuilding of New Orleans 9th Ward continues

The Major Donors Dinner in a unique setting! & The US-Russian Committee Party, the House of Friendship banner exchanging, and the final Plenary for this year's Rotary International Conference.
